Martian is a Sci-Fi movie which is very popular among astrophile just like the movie "Interstellar". So as Science lovers this a very good movie for you.

This story is all about an astronaut who lived alone on Mars. He went to Mars with his team members but, suddenly a sandstorm crashed up and they decided to give up the mission and come home. They were in a hurry to escape the sandstorm, so somehow they missed one astronaut-Mark Wateny on Mars. He is the main character in this movie.

He didn't give up. He found some methods to make water. Not only that, but with the aid of his plant biology knowledge somehow he managed to grow some potato plants on Mars. He stocked some food and started to continue his mission. After some hard work, he found an abandoned robot left on Mars. He used it to communicate with Earth. The scientists from Earth send some astronauts to bring Mark home. 


So this is a very good movie for those who are interested in astronomy and Mars. There are some very mind-blowing scenes on Mars and some adventurous scenes too. I will give it a rating of 4 out of 5. So next time you find a movie to enjoy, this is the movie you should enjoy!
